A week-long-birthday-blessing!!

It has been a long week of birthday blessings. Thank you for YF and J for making it so special. I know most of the effort goes to both of you. Of cos, Boss did try a bit. :) Thanks for the many many, no matter big or small, prezzies and love that you have poured into. I shouldn't have said I wanted something so big. I guess... all the more having a celebration in Japan really make a huge difference to how it is so s***** in Singapore when it comes to birthday celebration. I shall not lament but be contented. Once is enough. :) Thank you. I really REALLY really appreciate it. Although I dunno how to put it across better when I see you face-to-face, I am feeled with gratitude.

The week started with Sunday. Having a surprise gift from Ai Li.

On Tues, Boss brought me to this french cuisine restaurant in Suma, beside Big Boy. Who will know there is a restaurant there?? But it's not only a restaurant. But a huge old Ijinkan house that serves good and extravagrant food. Up next is appetiser. The waitress did attempt to rattle a long strand of words memorised regarding the food, however I can't really catch what she was talking about. So for that day, I don't really know what I was eating exactly. Ha~~

Some icy ice kachang thingy that tasted sour. Ha~

From top, left to right: Jelly thingy with Uni (sea urchin) on top. French veggie with miso paste. Fried paprika with some animal's paw and orange jelly. Fresh Katsuo fish with salad.

(Not taken very well) But it's super delicious. It's cold potato soup with white grapes and tapioca jelly tastes a slight soury. But it tastes perfect. Yummy. Till' now I can still feel it in my palate.

Fish that tasted what my ah ma will cook. Abit disappointing. But of cos it is really delicious. Ha~~

Dessert. My favorite course. Mahh~~ quite nice..

A cup of tea in my own terrace overlooking my garden. :)

The restaurant-house. First time to try such an event. Exciting!

On Wednesday, YF and I went to Akashi city to buy Kugini (small brown fish). So we soon bian went to eat akashiyaki which I have been wanting to try for the longest time. Ya quite long, I waited for about a year. I almost went to eat it during our Shikoku trip but it was closed by then.

On Thursday, we went to eat at this ladybug restaurant (Trattoria Coccinealla) near Kenchomae subway station. It serves italian food as you can see... Above is the appetiser which consists of so many things which made me wonder if it is actually the main course or what.

My pasta named Ragu. Can anyone tell me what is Ragu? Meat, tomato sauce, cream sauce and cheese? I think it is so. Sumptious.

Dessert: Interesting. Orange, raspberry ice cream and some milk pudding.

On Sat, it was my birthday celebration with Jess, YF, J aka gf, Boss, K and Aki. I was shocked and amazed at the number of presents I have received. Thank you so much everyone. I need to learn how to love people more. Lord, teach me.
Cold cut and avocado salad. Yummy.

Very huge doria. But abit disappointing cuz too salty.

Our spaghetti with cabbage. A tad bland. Is it me? or the menu was not very good that day? Hmmm.. am I too picky? Usually so. Alrights, quite nice la. Maahh~~

Fried chicken with tomato salsa sauce. Sauce was the nice part.

Hee hee, us.

Yay~~~ My cake. Very feeling. So we went to karaoke-ing. CHIONG ar......

So we chionged until 6am in the morning on Sun. Was still full of energy, I must say. I wonder why. Maybe by tmr, I will melt.

These are my prezzies. So many. Scrapbooks are the most time-consuming and thoughtful present EVER. Thank you so much for your effort. I keep thinking what did I do to deserve this? Maybe it's time for me to pass it on. ;)

Maybe, just maybe.
