Prawning

Wow... I really had a very fun time yesterday doing prawning. Actually it should be early this morning like 12 plus AM. It was really cool. Look at the first prawn that I caught, the prawn is quite blurry cuz it keeps fidgeting n spasm-ing. Haha.

My first time prawning. I think this will be my new sport. Not for long though. But I love it. :)

I think the most er-xin part of this experience was getting the hook out of the prawn's "mouth". When it starts foaming, that is really traumatic. I have to grab the prawn, tug its "kiappers" away, and take out the hook which is always stuck. The worse thing is when you finally take out the hook, the bait is still stuck on the hook. I re-used it again. Hahahahahahahhaha.. damn gross right? but damn fun.

changing blogskin at this insane hour

As I realise that I am super free, I have not been sleeping very early. Not very good for health, I must say.

I had a lot of trouble changing the skin. Had to work around with all the links and stuff. Finally got it done. A new skin for a new phase of life. Whee...

I seriously do not know why the people who create blogskins like to make their fonts so tiny. How to read sia.

for those who believe in platonic relationship, pui!

See what you can get from studying Psychology of Gender!

Women
- benefits: know how men think, enjoyment of less intense, activity orientation of men, access to men's greater resource and status
- but here is the crux: ambivalent view, less likely to name a man as a close friend

Men
- relief from hierarchy and rivalry of male friendship, gain nurturing and emotional support
- emotional satisfying for men than for women
- THIS IS IT: Unconventional men (i.e. gay or the like) are more at ease in cross-sex friendship

However, I do not think this applies to group settings, maybe more one-to-one.

went crazy

today is freak weather day again.

i woke up early in the morning intending to go school early to study a bit, since I was panicking for the whole of yesterday due to stress. JUST before I step out of my house, it started POURING. POURING k, not drizzle. Fed up!! I decided to stay at home to study but fell asleep on the sofa. Ate korean ramen i.e. maggi mee for my lunch cuz' lunch appointment wasn't confirm [not your fault, ;)]

Yea, after eating. Reached the bus stop with my sister. A whole school of students flooded the bus stop. SIAN DIAOZ. Missed a bus. Waited for the next bus which really took a whole, have to squeeze with millions of students. Was standing at the door.

Reached the 2nd bus stop, awaiting 188. It was crazy. Waited and waited and waited for like a zillion years to pass by. The bus never came. All the lao uncles and aunties went waiting at the bus stop, talking in hokkien and cantonese about how slow the bus was. Don't ask me why the sudden influx of old people at the bus stop. Probably the aging population. :)

Finally the bus arrived after half an hour. Not to forget the korean lady who sat beside, knocked into me hard cuz she was dozing off. Greats.

What a way to start my exam. I had to pray so many times in a day, or else I think I would have gone crazy. So thank God for the composure and the ability to concentrate on my test. Yea!

Thank God that nothing happened to my lovely friend and Happy belated Birthday to ya again!! :)

I emailed my "Boss" over at Japan whether there will be a pay rise? Haha... I seriously think he will be so shocked. I even mentioned "what if I break the contract?" Die la. Anyhow say things like that.
